As we look to the New Year and the casting of our vision for 2018 “to love one another”, it is a great time to obey the Scripture mandate to “examine ourselves.” In this process, we will be in Acts 2:42 and evaluate ourselves based on what characterized the practice of the early church – “And they continued steadfast in the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer.” It is these four things which are in healthy churches.
