Join us every Tuesday during the summer for supervised pick-up basketball on our outdoor courts starting at 7:00 p.m. There are two full size courts where we run 5 on 5. Scoring is ones and twos with games to eleven unless there two or fewer teams waiting then games are to fifteen. In addition to basketball, we break halfway into the evening for a short Gospel message. It is open to high school age and above with play time being skill-based.
The opening of this year’s Awana program will occur September 26th at 6:00pm in the church Gymnasium.
Join us in an evening of fellowship and prayer, every Wednesday in the Ministry Wing Classroom 1. There are two prayer times, the first from 6:30pm to 8:00pm and the second from 8:00pm to 9:30pm. The evening usually begins with a time of sharing, reading and singing followed by silent and group prayer.
Youth group is another arm of our youth ministry serving both an outreach and church life function. It occurs each Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and consists of a wide range of activities from games, to group sports to individual ‘hang out’ time. We also serve a meal each week to attendees at 5:30 p.m. followed by a time in the Word. It is open to grades seventh through twelfth.
On September 27–28, 2019 women will gather in Indianapolis, and around the globe, for Revive ’19: Seeking HIM, a conference from Revive Our Hearts. Speakers including Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth, Mary Kassian, Dannah Gresh, and many more.
Every third Friday of the month, QBC leads the nightly service at the Providence Rescue Mission. The speakers vary but the 30 minute sermon is always shares the Gospel message. Following the service, volunteers help serve a meal to those staying at the PRM.
