It could have happened like this. I mean, we find other accounts in scripture of God’s messengers, angels, visiting His people at night so maybe it was so with Mary.
Today’s scripture is one of those places we feel like taking our shoes off; for this is holy ground. It is a sacred time and place. It is one causing us to pause and reflect.
Today we focus on the person of Christ. The blessed Incarnation, Immanuel, God with us. Meditate on the fact of who Jesus is, why He came, and what he did for you. In this is fullness of Joy.
Consistency, faithfulness, steadfastness, stable, constant . . . these are words all Christians desire would describe their walks with the Lord.
