In verse eighteen, he prays for believers “to have the eyes of their understanding open to what are the riches of our inheritance in the Lord.” We will look at the chief aspect of the Christian’s inheritance – the inheritance of God Himself.

Called to Hope: Living Confidently in a Hopeless World

This Lord’s Day morning, we continue our study of the Apostle Paul’s first prayer for the believers in Ephesus. In verse eighteen, he prays for believers “to have the eyes of their understanding open to know the hope of God’s calling.” We will look at what are the callings in our lives from God and how that fuels hope. And it is hope that empowers the Christians to live above life’s circumstances and display the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
