First Samuel is a riveting read that introduces us to some of the most memorable figures in the Old Testament. The greatest of its heroes is David, a mighty man of faith who makes his distinctive contribution to preparing God’s people for the Anointed One, the Messiah who comes to rule and to save.

We will be starting a men’s and women’s parallel study of 1 Samuel: A King after God’s Own Heart on January 4th at 6:15pm. The men will meet in the Church Library, and the women in a ministry wing classroom. 1 Samuel: A King after God’s Own Heart is a 13-lesson Bible study that introduces us to some of Scripture’s most memorable figures—David, Jonathan, Saul, and others—who prepare us for the coming Christ.
