This Lord’s Day evening, we continue in 1 John looking at a serious issue the apostle addresses; professing to be a Christian who walks with the Lord but in reality, the life lived lacks the evidence this is true. We hope to identify the marks of self-deception and the way to affirm we are true children of God.

This Lord’s Day morning, we continue our study of the Apostle Paul’s second prayer for the believers in Ephesus. Lord willing, we enter into the substance of the second petition – being strengthened by God’s Spirit in our inner being. We hope to identify who is this inner being and the evidence we have become this new creature in Christ so we may experience the answers to this prayer.
This Lord’s Day evening, we continue in the second chapter of 1 John looking at the theme of personal assurance of salvation. In the goal of enjoying this assurance in our relationship with the Lord, obedience is necessary. We hope to discover eight marks of the obedience in a believer that leads to this assurance.
