This Lord’s Day morning, we continue our study of the Apostle Paul’s first prayer for the believers in Ephesus. In verse eighteen, he prays for believers “to have the eyes of their understanding open to what are the riches of our inheritance in the Lord.” We will look at what lies ahead for the believer in realizing what God has prepared for them that love; our inheritance of Himself and heaven.

Called to Hope: Living Confidently in a Hopeless World

In verse eighteen, he prays for believers “to have the eyes of their understanding open to know the hope of God’s calling.” We will look at what are the callings in our lives from God and how that fuels hope. And it is hope that empowers the Christians to live above life’s circumstances and display the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
