1. Do not neglect and take lightly the Lord’s training in our lives
a. Accept we are in Christ’s Lifetime School of Discipleship: Matthew 11:28-30, Ephesians 4:17-24, Titus 2:11-14
b. Believe God really knows what’s best: John 13:6-7, Jeremiah 29:11-13, Romans 8:29
c. Concentrate on the results, not the process: Psalm 119:67
2. Do not loathe the Lord’s correcting work in our lives: Proverbs 3:11, Hebrews 11:24-25
