The Day of the Lord: A Day of Contrasts

This Lord’s Day, we enter chapter five of the New Testament book of 1 Thessalonians. The Apostle Paul is instructing the Thessalonian believers on “The Day of the Lord.” This day of all days is one of contrast. For the unbeliever, it is a day of terror and destruction.
