Where we’ve come from
Quidnessett Church was founded on June 2, 1828. For nearly two hundred years, God’s people have gathered on Post Road to worship Jesus Christ and sit under His Word. God has been faithful through every generation. More than once, He has used this congregation to plant churches and send out missionaries.
Today
Who we are today
Today we are a church family gathered around an open Bible and led by a team of elders. Jon Sole is our Lead Pastor. He grew up in this church and has served on its staff since 2014. Every Sunday, we still preach the same gospel that gathered the first congregation in 1828.
Looking ahead
Where we’re headed
We are not here to preserve the past. We are here to please God, make disciples, and reach our neighbors. We want to form whole-life followers of Jesus, and to raise up and send out the next generation of disciples and leaders, for this church and beyond. The God who was faithful to the generations before us is still at work, and we want to be part of what He does next.
