Pastors and Elders

Jonathan Sole, D.Min.

Lead Pastor

Pastor Jon Sole serves as Lead Pastor of Quidnessett Church. He grew up here, wandered from the Lord for a season, and by God’s grace came home in 2008. He joined the staff in 2014 and loves preaching verse by verse through books of the Bible and walking with people as they take their next step with Christ. A former carpenter, Jon also directs the Quidnessett Bible Institute. He holds degrees from Liberty University, Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.). Outside the church, Jon coaches Little League baseball and enjoys strength training and running. He and his wife, Katelyn, have seven children, and they would love to meet you on a Sunday.

Gene Messier

Elder

Gene has been walking with the Lord since 1977 and has served as an elder since 2021. He hosts a Community Group and teaches Sunday School. He and his wife, Melanie, have been married for over four decades. They are the parents of three children and grandparents of five.

Matthew Majeika

Elder

Matthew Majeika serves as an elder at Quidnessett Church, where he hosts a Community Group and helps facilitate Sunday School. He and his family came to Quidnessett in 2022. He has been married since 2010, and he and his wife have eight children. He works as an electrical engineer and enjoys barbell strength training and coaching.
