This Lord’s Day is Resurrection Sunday – the day our Lord rose from the dead conquering sin and death! And when it comes to overcoming fear, here is the ultimate fear-destroyer – living out our union in the One who rose from the dead. To that end, we hope see how the resurrected Lord on the very day of His resurrection conquered fear in the lives of His very afraid disciples.
This Lord’s Day is Palm Sunday – the day our Lord made His triumphant entry into Jerusalem beginning His last week of life on the earth. Though we are going to continue our sermon series WHEN I AM AFRAID looking at Nehemiah, the importance of this week – Palm Sunday through Resurrection Sunday must be emphasized and remembered. To those ends, we will begin a new sermon series titled “WHEN I AM AFRAID” looking in God’s Word of what it says about being afraid, examples of being afraid, and how God helps His people overcome being afraid.
