This Lord’s Day evening, we continue in the second chapter of 1 John looking at the theme of personal assurance of salvation. In the goal of enjoying this assurance in our relationship with the Lord, obedience is necessary. We hope to discover eight marks of the obedience in a believer that leads to this assurance. .
This Lord’s Day morning, we continue our study of the Apostle Paul’s second prayer for the believers in Ephesus. Lord willing, we enter into the specific petitions looking at why Christians need to be strengthened by the Spirit for the abiding life in Christ.
This Lord’s Day morning, we continue our study of the Apostle Paul’s second prayer for the believers in Ephesus. Lord willing, we hope to enter into the prayer by looking at its characteristics and petitions seeing that in this prayer is the whole of the Christian life – knowing and growing in the love of Christ.
This Lord’s Day evening, we return to our study of the New Testament book of 1 John. We find ourselves in chapter two, verse three and encounter the primary source for gaining and maintaining assurance of salvation – our obedience to the Lord’s commandments. We hope to look at the nature of the obedience we are to practice as we walk with the Lord.
