Romans 10:14-15 – How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

The truth of our oneness in the Lord Jesus is the key to understanding our salvation and living the Christian life with joy. And one of the most important truths to grasp in our union in Christ is the radical change it makes by the new heart God gives us; a heart with His desires and purposes for living. This is sermon six in the series titled “Our Union in Christ”.
In this sermon, we are looking at the Lord’s Table and its implications for our individual and church lives. This is part of the continuing series where we are casting of our vision for 2018 “to love one another” and we are doing so by obeying the Scripture mandate to “examine ourselves.”
One of the great motivators of our joy is to see the role God the Father has in our union with His Son. We are in Christ because of the Father’s sovereign grace and love. He is the initiator of our union in His Son and that leads to a fullness of joy in the believer.
In this sermon, we are looking at the second goal to pursue in the practice of fellowship – spiritual strengthening of one another. We continue casting of our vision for 2018 “to love one another” and we are doing so by obeying the Scripture mandate to “examine ourselves.”
