And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 5 but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: 6 whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.  1 John 2:3-6

1.  A grace and truth walk:  John 1:14

2.  A confrontational walk:  John 3:1-3

3.  A weary walk:  John 4:1-6; 2 Cor. 12:15

4.  A strengthening walk:  John 6:16-21, Rom. 1:11-12


5.  A non-condemning walk: John 8:7-11

 –  Remembering our frailty and proneness to sin: Ps. 103:10-14

–  Willingness to forgive and let the past go: Ezekiel 16:62-63

–  Expectation of change:  John 5:14, Acts 19:17-20, Rom. 12:3, Eph. 4:32, Col. 3:12-13

6.  A seeking walk:  John 9:35-38, Acts 15:36, Acts 14:21-23

7.  A sacrificial walk: John 10:13-15, 1 John 3:16-18
