In this section of our journey through 1 Peter, the Apostle is reminding us that as Jesus suffered, so must we. He is pointing us to arm our minds with this truth if we are to have influence for Christ in our decaying culture.

This Lord’s Day evening, we continue our study of the wisdom book of Proverbs with the theme – humility; the most important virtue in the Christian life. Without humility, one cannot become a Christian or grow as a Christian. And in our study, we are looking at illustrations from the Old and New Testaments of humility in action.
In our journey through 1 Peter, the Apostle is showing us how our conduct is to be in a culture far away from God. This section reveals the power by which we may live this influential life; the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We hope to see His Triumphant through the Gospel as the motivator and strength to make a difference in our lives for Him.
