He then goes on to explore the conditional linkage between our forgiveness and our forgiveness of others, the two primary concepts of our forgiveness, and the attributes of God’s forgiveness that should be present in how we forgive others.

The Christian life is filled with many spiritual dangers. Not a day goes by we are not confronted with spiritual foes seeking our destruction. It is an unwise and ill-prepared Christian who simply rushes into each day oblivious to this reality. And the evil tactics of our foes are many, subtle, well-crafted, and easily trip us up.

In this sixth part of our Lord’s instruction on prayer, Pastor Jim outlines the implications of the third petition to God, “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. This petition is explored in 3 ways: what is the definition of the will of God, how is the will of God done in heaven, and what are examples of His will for us on earth. Throughout the message, Pastor Jim explains the nuances between God’s absolute will (He is sovereign) and his revealed will (the part we understand and must follow).
