Awana is our Wednesday night club for children, where boys and girls have a blast, hide God’s Word in their hearts, and hear the good news of Jesus Christ. The name comes from 2 Timothy 2:15: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.
- When: Wednesdays, 6:00 to 7:45 PM, September through May
- Who: Age 3 through 6th grade
- Where: The Ministry Wing at 6356 Post Road, North Kingstown
Clubs by age
- Cubbies: Ages 3 and 4 (potty trained, please)
- Sparks: Kindergarten through 2nd grade
- Truth and Training (T&T): 3rd through 6th grade
What a club night looks like
- Game time. Children learn teamwork and good sportsmanship, and they just plain have fun.
- Handbook time. Children memorize Scripture with leaders who know them by name and cheer them on.
- Council time. Children hear a Bible lesson and learn how God’s Word applies to their lives today.
