Threads of Good News is our free clothing ministry for neighbors in North Kingstown and beyond. We offer gently used clothing for infants, children, and adults, along with a friendly face and a listening ear. There is no cost and no paperwork. Everyone is welcome.
- Open: Wednesday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Where: The clothing room at 6356 Post Road, North Kingstown
- Cost: Free
Our selection changes from month to month, and we work to keep clothing on hand for the current season. Feel free to drop by, shop, and stay to chat.
Why we do this
Like all of us, the people who visit Threads of Good News face real challenges in life. We want to meet practical needs with kindness, and we would love the chance to share the hope we have in Jesus Christ with anyone who wants to talk or pray.
Donate clothing
Gently used or new clothing keeps our racks full. You can drop off donations with volunteers during open hours, or place them in the collection hut just outside the ministry building doors. We accept clothing and clothing accessories only, such as shoes, belts, bags, and purses.
Volunteer
Volunteers sort donations, keep the room stocked, and welcome guests. If you would like to help, call the church office at 401-884-9111.
