Church Distinctives
Quidnessett Baptist Church portrays herself with clear distinction in our community. One's gaze upon our building as a visitor to our website or in actual attendance will notice the beautiful distinction in our external architecture. We have been around for awhile and our building reflects a church which has stood the test of time in a rapidly changing community and region! And when is the last time you attended a church where access to the sanctuary must be gained through a pedestrian tunnel under a busy highway? But a far more important distinction at QBC is our commitment to scriptural mandates.
Two passages of scripture serve as our motto and guide the conduct of our church life:
I THESSALONIANS 4:1 - Paul desired for the Thessalonians to abound more and more in their Christian walk and for the purpose of PLEASING GOD. We strive to PLEASE GOD and to be distinctively committed to that highest standard of human activity.
MATTHEW 28:20 - Our Lord Jesus prior to His ascension commands His followers to be about the business of MAKING DISCIPLES. We take seriously the command of the Lord and with clear vision strive to maintain a "heart for the lost" in reaching our community with His gospel.
