Quidnessett Baptist Church portrays herself with clear distinctives as a church in our community.

First is longevity. We have been established as a Bible-believing church for over 180 years. God has sustained us as we maintained and do maintain an unwavering commitment to His Word as the authority in all church practice and ministry. Currently the version of the Bible as the standard in our pews and used in our pulpit is the highly respectable English Standard Version (ESV). We believe this is a very accurate and reliable translation of the scriptures, however, we are not restrictive to those saints of God who uses other reliable translations as personal preferences.

Secondly, we are committed to be a unified church under the Head of the Church, the Lord Jesus Christ. From this commitment flows a deep desire to minister compassionately and aggressively both inside the walls of QBC and outside into our community. Our pursuit is to know Christ intimately, know His love experientially, and share His Gospel creatively and consistently.

Finally, we are committed to developing God’s people for the work of the ministry. Leadership is committed to assisting members and regular attenders to discover and develop their place of service in the local church to help QBC fulfill her motto and vision.
